Going by this title I'm sure that readers won’t be able to understand it......but let me explain this. I've a really bad habit of correcting people regarding facts and phrases, so this happened to be the same case. It was during the FIFA WC 2010 that i got the stick from my friends for this that always use this phrase whenever i try to speak, effectively shutting me up.
Previous day Germany had lost the semis against Spain........and being the lone German supporter i had to face the Spanish supporters (and also the Converts who were supporting Argentina and England in earlier stages, so you can understand the importance of the semifinal match for me).I was in the commotion regarding how Spain were good in possession and all those things which novice supporters could think of........suddenly someone said "..the scorer was David Villa (vil-uh)", someone said. I never knew what was the actual reason for making this statement but i replied back with the most sarcastic of replies saying, “But the point is its not David Villa (vil-uh)...............its David Villa (vi-ya)........” and that was the end of the discussion(As always happens whenever i try to say something sensible, Piyush, Parth and especially Amey would make faces that would remind me few SN characters going for some calls).I dont get it still, that one statement out of nowhere pissed them of so much that i still have to bear it.But i liked it, big time.
Many a times i think about situations where things which people say out of habit or its the sheer ignorance to someone’s advices, same applied to the "David Villa" case and mind you its David Villa(vil-ya).Me and my friend Khatu fall in the latter. Khatu......he's nonstop when on song.........incessant making life hell for the other person. Saying things out of habit is forte of Parth.........who starts presentations as such, “Basically...............blah blah blah. But basically it’s like..............so on and so forth." Amey well he does things out of habit, like thinking all the time......high Five all around making their palms swell.........Or me writing such nonsense posts about things people would never read.
So then why do we do it???.............maybe we all are genetically engineered or pre-programmed to do things which we have to do and which won’t ever escape our subconscious mind.Khatu won’t be Khatu until he blabbers...or Amey be what all i described.
All boils down to one thing......do what you like to do, to heck with the world.
Tschuss bis dann!!!
